Our purpose is to alleviate and prevent problems confronting older persons in North Florida. By providing a multitude of resources and preventative services to ages sixty plus population.
The Senior Citizens Council of Madison County Florida helps to enable the elderly to live healthy, independent and productive lives in their homes for as long as possible as to delay or prevent the possibility of premature institutionalization. We are committed to the continuation and expansion of resources and services necessary to promote quality of life.

Senior Services & Programs
The Senior Citizens Council offers a wide range of programs and services to assist the elderly, disadvantaged, and caregivers. These services can include case management, caregiver relief, screenings, education and other related assistance.

Our Meal Programs
Staff and volunteers prepare nutritious hot lunches Monday thru Friday for our senior congregate hot lunch program. The Council also provides home-delivered, or meals on wheels, and specially prepared holiday dinners for community seniors.

Health & Wellness
The Council also plans a variety of exciting senior activities such as arts, crafts, dancing, parties, trips, and special events that help keep seniors both physically and mentally fit. We provide numerious low cost or no-cost health programs.
